Valour Seizes Opportunity Amid Market Volatility

Despite the ongoing market volatility in digital asset markets, Valour, a leading provider of digital asset investment products, remains committed to its long-term strategy of growth and expansion. In its recent Q2 2026 conference call, Johan, CEO of Valour, emphasized that while lower crypto asset prices have affected assets under management, they have not changed the company's conviction in the long-term opportunity or progress across the business.

Valour's focus on executing its strategy, strengthening the platform, and creating long-term value for shareholders has been instrumental in navigating the challenging market conditions. The company's core business is becoming more scalable and efficient as it invests across existing businesses, pursues strategic opportunities, and advances product innovation.

A notable achievement during the quarter was Valour's listing of over 100 listed ETPs and structured products across multiple exchanges globally, with plans to list an additional eight more in Q3. This demonstrates the company's commitment to expanding its product offering and increasing its market presence.

The positive net inflows of CAD 22.8 million during the quarter reflect continued customer demand for Valour's products, despite the challenging environment for the broader digital asset industry. Johan views these net inflows as an encouraging sign, demonstrating continued demand for their products and reinforcing confidence in the long-term opportunities ahead.

Furthermore, Valour continues to broaden its institutional platform product offering, with the launch of its first hedge fund remaining a key priority. The company is also expanding its arbitrage strategies during the second half of the year, aiming to further strengthen its institutional capability and diversify revenue streams.

The development of the Valour custody platform remains on track for a targeted beta launch in the second half of the year, focusing on bringing custody capabilities in-house, reducing third-party costs, and improving margins. The use of AI is also becoming increasingly important for Valour, leveraging it to improve operational efficiency while developing AI-enabled investment products that complement their existing crypto product offering.

From a financial standpoint, Valour continues to operate from a position of strength, with a strong balance sheet and liquidity providing flexibility to invest through the market cycle. The company remains on track for its second record year of revenue and is poised for asymmetric upside as market conditions improve.
