ADC Therapeutics Posts Strong Q1 2026 Results, Eyes Further Growth Opportunities
ADC Therapeutics, a biotechnology company focused on the development and commercialization of innovative cancer therapies, today reported strong financial results for the first quarter of 2026. The company's Q1 2026 earnings conference call, held on May 4, 2026, provided valuable insights into its operational performance and recent business highlights.
According to Ameet Mallik, Chief Executive Officer of ADC Therapeutics, the company made good progress in the first quarter of 2026 as it advances towards multiple important milestones for ZYNLONTA over the remainder of the year. Notably, the expected LOTIS-5 top-line readout in the second quarter is a significant event that could bring the company another step closer to providing the ZYNLONTA plus rituximab combination to significantly more patients.
The LOTIS-7 trial, which involves the use of ZYNLONTA plus ofatumumab, is also progressing well. ADC Therapeutics expects to complete enrollment of approximately 100 patients at the selected dose level in the second quarter, with full data anticipated by year-end. Additionally, the company continues to anticipate data publication between the end of 2026 and mid-2027 from multicenter investigator-initiated trials of ZYNLONTA in combination with rituximab for relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma and as a monotherapy for relapsed or refractory marginal zone lymphoma.
On a non-GAAP basis, ADC Therapeutics reduced its total operating expenses by 13% versus Q1 2025. The company ended the first quarter of 2026 with a healthy cash balance of $231 million, maintaining its expected cash runway at least into 2028. This enables ADC Therapeutics to deliver against its strategy and build off the well-established role of ZYNLONTA as a single-agent therapy in third-line plus DLBCL.
As Ameet Mallik highlighted, the relative stability seen in net product revenues over multiple quarters demonstrates that ZYNLONTA has a clear place in this market. The company believes that the largest growth opportunity lies in the second-line plus setting, where it plans to provide data from the LOTIS-5 trial before the end of June.
With its strong financial performance and solid business momentum, ADC Therapeutics is well-positioned for continued success in 2026. The company's commitment to delivering innovative cancer therapies has earned it a reputation as a leader in the biotechnology industry.
