Atour Lifestyle Holdings Shines in Q2 2026: Delivering Chinese Experiences and Brand-Led Excellence
Atour Lifestyle Holdings, a leading hospitality and retail company in China, has reported impressive results for the second quarter of 2026. In a conference call on August 20th, the company's founder, chairman, and CEO, Mr. Wang Haijun, shared the highlights of their performance.
"The consumer market in China is showing divergent performance," said Mr. Wang. "While homogeneous products and services are under pressure, companies that deliver differentiated experiences and have strong brand equity are showing greater resilience."
Mr. Wang emphasized that the hotel industry is shifting from scale-driven expansion to high-quality growth, with competition increasingly centered on product innovation, service capabilities, and operational efficiency rather than supply growth. Similarly, in retail, consumers are not only pursuing product quality but also placing increasing importance on whether products align with their lifestyles.
Atour Lifestyle Holdings has been making continuous breakthroughs across hotel and retail businesses through its new three-year strategy, Chinese Experience, Brand-Led Excellence. The company has consolidated its experience advantage and enhanced the brand momentum, driving long-term, healthy, and sustainable growth.
The results of this strategy are evident in Atour's hotel business. In the second quarter, their RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) was RMB 345.4, representing a 100.7% increase from the same period in 2025. ADR (Average Daily Rate) maintained steady growth, reaching 101.2% of its level in the same period of 2025, while OCC (Occupancy) stood at 99.7%. The company's mature hotels in operation for more than 18 months showed RevPAR of RMB 336.8, representing a 97% increase from the same period in 2025.
Atour Lifestyle Holdings has been maintaining strict standards for project selection and new hotel openings, following a quality-first principle. In the second quarter, they opened 101 new hotels, enhancing the quality of their hotel presence in core markets. By the end of the second quarter, their total number of hotels in operation reached 2,175, with a pipeline of 811 hotels under development.
The company's CRS (Central Reservation System) channel continued its steady performance in the second quarter, accounting for 61.5% of total room nights sold. The contribution of room nights sold to corporate members was 20.4%. Mr. Wang also shared the latest developments across their hotel brands, highlighting Atour Hotel's leadership position in the upper midscale segment and the success of their new product, Atour 3.6.
