ClearSign Technologies Sees Significant Revenue Growth in Q2 2026, Expands Cash Position

ClearSign Technologies Corporation has reported a substantial increase in revenue and a reduction in net loss during its second quarter of 2026. The company's revenues reached approximately $560,000, a year-over-year growth from $133,000 in the same period of 2025. This uptick was primarily driven by the delivery of a portion of its Flare's system order, as well as the completion of multiple CFD studies and spare parts orders.

The company's gross profit margin remained relatively flat at around 41% compared to the same quarter in 2025. However, ClearSign noted a significant decrease in net loss by $373,000 from the same period last year, largely due to reduced general and administrative expenses. The majority of this reduction was attributed to lower legal fees related to a special committee of its board of directors that was dissolved after the annual meeting of stockholders.

On the cash front, ClearSign's net cash used in operations for the second quarter of 2026 increased to approximately $1.2 million compared to around $511,000 in the same period of 2025. This change primarily resulted from differences in customer cash collections timing. At June 30th, 2026, the company had about $9.9 million in cash and cash equivalents.

In addition, ClearSign raised further funds through a private equity offering with an existing investor. The sale of 500,000 shares at market value on July 21st, 2026 added approximately $1.7 million to its net proceeds, bringing the pro forma June 30th, 2026 cash balance to around $11.6 million.

ClearSign's Chief Financial Officer, Brent Hinds, highlighted that the company has a total of 6.8 million shares of common stock outstanding as of August 8th, 2026, which includes its most recent share offerings. This move reflects ClearSign's efforts to expand its capital base and support future growth initiatives.

As ClearSign continues to navigate its business development plans, the company appears positioned for further expansion in revenue and cash reserves. Investors will be keenly watching these developments as they look for signs of sustained progress from the corporation."
