Biote Sees Resilient Growth in Hormone Replacement Market Amid Productive Year

The hormone replacement and therapeutic wellness market has been a growing concern for many companies, but Biote is seeing significant progress. The company's fourth quarter and full year 2025 earnings conference call provided some exciting highlights that showcase its commitment to the industry.

According to Bret Christensen, Chief Executive Officer of Biote, the company achieved progress against its strategic plan in 2025, becoming a more resilient, disciplined, and effective organization. This marks a pivotal point for Biote as it positions itself for sustainable growth in the underserved hormone replacement market.

The company's top three strategic objectives were prioritizing and accelerating new clinic growth, maximizing value from existing top-tier clinics, and strengthening accountability and discipline throughout the organization. Progress was made on all fronts, particularly in new clinic growth. To drive this goal, Biote rebuilt a significant portion of its commercial team by recruiting fresh talent with a high-performance mindset.

The company also empowered its sales team with upgraded tools and training, as well as designed a new incentive compensation framework that aligns with their high-growth objectives. The restructuring of the commercial team was completed in two key regions, allowing for improved service to existing accounts and increased focus on driving new clinic growth.

As a result, Biote ended 2025 with over 90 salespeople, up from approximately 60 at the time of the sales reorganization last May. This significant increase in sales team size is expected to drive revenue and earnings growth for the company moving forward.

The focus on new clinic growth was key to Biote's success in 2025. The company believes that this will be a critical factor in driving sustainable growth in the hormone replacement market, which has historically been underserved. By prioritizing new clinic growth, Biote aims to generate consistent revenue and earnings growth over the long term.

The company's efforts have paid off, with significant progress made on its strategic objectives. With a more resilient, disciplined, and effective organization, Biote is well-positioned for success in the hormone replacement market.
