Champion Homes Delivers Record-Breaking Quarter with 19% Increase in Home Sales and 23% Revenue Growth

On a conference call to discuss its fourth quarter fiscal year 2025 earnings, Champion Homes President and CEO Tim Larson proudly reported that the company provided over 26,000 homes to customers and families across the U.S. and Canada in fiscal 2025.

This represents a 19% increase in home sales year-over-year and revenue growth of 23%, resulting in fiscal year 2025 sales of $2.5 billion. The company's performance was driven by an unwavering focus on its customers and executing its strategic priorities, including investing in new product services for channel partners and expanding retail capabilities.

Champion Homes' recent acquisition of Iseman Homes is also expected to contribute to the company's continued growth and success. Larson announced this acquisition during the call, highlighting the company's commitment to delivering value across all stakeholders.

The International Builder Show was a significant platform for Champion Homes in the quarter, with the company showcasing models that catered to builders' needs for relevant and affordable turnkey homes. The reception to these new products was tremendous, reflecting the strength of the Champion Homes family of brands.

Champion Homes also engaged with leadership from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), receiving positive feedback on their commitment to making homeownership more attainable. Secretary Scott Turner's willingness to learn how manufactured housing can expand to address affordability needs across the country was particularly encouraging, as was the recent spotlight in Congress on reaffirming HUD's role as the sole regulator.

The company's ability to navigate an unpredictable environment with tariffs and inflation during the quarter was also highlighted by Larson. Fourth-quarter year-over-year net sales increased 11% to $594 million, while homes sold during the period rose 6% to a total of 6,171 units.

Seasonality in the fourth quarter led to a sequential decrease in revenue compared to the third quarter, but orders increased throughout the quarter. The company's backlog at the end of the year was $343 million, representing a 9% increase from the end of last year and a 10% sequential rise.

The average backlog lead time ended the quarter at 8 weeks, which is within Champion Homes' target range of 4 to 12 weeks. Larson also provided additional commentary on each of the company's sales channels, noting that both independent retail channel and captive retail stores saw increases versus the prior year period.
