Cheetah Mobile Roars Ahead: 43% Revenue Growth and Full-Year Operating Profitability in 2025

China-based technology company Cheetah Mobile has announced a stellar performance in 2025, with revenue growing by a whopping 43% year-over-year. In the fourth quarter of the year, AI and other segments accounted for half of the company's total revenues, highlighting the increasing contribution of its new growth initiatives.

Chairman and CEO Fu Sheng attributed the success to the company's focus on stabilizing its business and building a stronger foundation in 2025. "We finished stabilizing the business and built a stronger foundation for Cheetah Mobile," he said during the conference call. "Our total revenue grew 43% year-over-year, driven by continued growth in both our internet business and AI and other segments."

One of the key highlights of the quarter was the emergence of robotics as a structural growth driver for the company. Revenue from this segment grew approximately 31% for the full year, with a significant surge in the fourth quarter. Voice robots in China achieved 100% year-over-year growth for three consecutive quarters and accounted for high single digits of the total revenues.

The company's strategic focus on core strength in voice robotics and integration of AI agent technology has driven this progress. The new version of their voice robot, featuring built-in skills like guiding, patrolling, and advertising, is also gaining traction. Additionally, their robotic arm business serving overseas markets made up high single digits of the fourth quarter's total revenues.

Another significant development is the introduction of a smart wheelchair targeting developed regions such as Western Europe and North America. This premium solution offers users safety, independence, and confidence in daily mobility, addressing a clear shift in demand towards safety, assistance, and intelligent features in mobility products.

By applying their experience in service robots, Cheetah Mobile aims to improve the user experience while delivering these benefits without significantly increasing costs compared to traditional high-end electric wheelchairs. The company has entered into framework agreements with established mobility brands to manage branding, distribution, and after-sales services, with initial shipments expected to begin in the second quarter of 2026.

The market is increasingly recognizing the value of service robots, with more companies testing and deploying them. Cheetah Mobile believes that the next 1-2 years will be a validation phase where return on investment (ROI) and reliability will matter most.

Meanwhile, the company's internet business remains strong, generating steady cash flow that allows it to invest in AI in a disciplined and sustainable way. For over a decade, Cheetah Mobile has built utility applications serving hundreds of millions of users, shaping its approach to AI as focusing on turning AI capabilities into practical tools that help users complete real tasks.

The company's commitment to sustainability is evident in its investment strategy, with Chairman Fu Sheng sharing his personal experience of using the smart wheelchair during his recent recovery. He emphasized the benefits of delivering measurable value and ease of operation at scale without significantly increasing costs, a testament to Cheetah Mobile's focus on practicality and accessibility.
