Dolphin Powers Ahead with Record-Breaking Q2 2026 Results

On August 12th, Dolphin, a leading marketing consortium, hosted its quarterly conference call to discuss the company's impressive second-quarter results. The Q2 2026 earnings report showcased a significant increase in revenue, solidifying the company's position as a top player in the industry.

The revenue for the quarter came in at $14.4 million, representing a 2.5% year-over-year growth and $27.2 million for the first half, up 3.8% compared to last year. Bill O'Dowd, Chief Executive Officer of Dolphin, attributed this success to the company's agencies being front and center at several large events since their last earnings call in May.

Dolphin's agencies had a busy quarter, with notable appearances at the Cannes Film Festival, the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, the 25th Tribeca Film Festival, VidCon Anaheim, the NEXUS Global Summit, and San Diego Comic-Con. The company's presence at these events demonstrated their ability to stay relevant in the ever-changing marketing landscape.

In a significant development, Dolphin announced the launch of Graviteur Studios, a production studio for leading creators and influencers. This new venture is a natural extension of everything the company has learned running a marketing consortium within pop culture. Graviteur aims to help produce, distribute, and market creator-led content across streaming platforms, television networks, and theatrical releases.

While discussing the bottom line, Bill O'Dowd highlighted that two one-time expenses affected the quarter's profitability: retention bonuses totaling $360,000 and legal fees of around $360,000. However, he emphasized that these costs are expected to decrease in Q3, leading to a real step up in profitability.

The company's focus on free cash flow is also noteworthy. With bank debt maturing in two years, Dolphin expects to save almost $2.2 million annually in principal and interest payments. Additionally, the expiration of large New York and Los Angeles leases will result in savings of another roughly $1 million per year.

With approximately $127 million of NOLs (net operating losses) on their balance sheet, these savings will directly contribute to the company's bottom line. Dolphin's Q2 2026 results demonstrate a strong performance, and with new ventures like Graviteur Studios, the company is poised for continued growth and success in the years to come.
