F5 Inc. Ignites Growth Trajectory with 7% Revenue Surge in Q2 2025

F5 Inc., a leader in the application delivery and security space, has just released its second-quarter fiscal year 2025 financial results, showcasing a remarkable 7% total revenue growth. This significant increase is driven by continued innovation, technology leadership, and a unique ability to solve customers' hybrid multi-cloud challenges.
During a recent conference call, Francois Locoh-Donou, F5's President and CEO, highlighted the company's strong Q2 performance, stating, "Our continuous innovation, technology leadership, and unique ability to solve our customers' hybrid multi-cloud challenges were key drivers of our strong Q2 results." He added that the company delivered 12% product revenue growth, with systems revenue increasing by an impressive 27%. Software revenue remained flat compared to the year-ago quarter.
The F5 ADSP (Application Delivery and Security Platform) was a major highlight from the company's Up World event for customers and partners. This innovative platform converges high-performance load balancing and traffic management with advanced app and API security capabilities, providing consistent policies, full visibility, and AI-driven insights across hybrid and multi-cloud environments at scale.
Cooper Werner, F5's Executive Vice President and CFO, praised the company's Q2 non-GAAP EPS of $3.42, representing 18% year-over-year growth, $0.28 above the top end of their guidance range. He also mentioned that the company has good visibility into a Q3 pipeline reflecting continued healthy demand in support of data center modernization and competitive tick out momentum.
Looking ahead to Q3, F5 expects revenue to be in the range of $740 million to $760 million, implying roughly 8% growth at the midpoint. The company has also raised its guidance for FY '25 revenue growth to a range of 6.5% to 7.5%, up from their prior range of 6% to 7%. This updated range reflects F5's strong first-half revenue and the dynamics currently seen in the business.
As Francois Locoh-Donou emphasized, "We are innovating to address the ball of fire challenges faced by our customers - high cost, crushing complexity, and escalating cyber risks." The introduction of the F5 ADSP marks a significant step towards solving these pressing issues, enabling CISOs to deliver and secure any app, any API anywhere, while providing powerful automation that helps customers manage large, complex digital estates with greater efficiency.
With its innovative solutions and strong Q2 performance, F5 Inc. is well-positioned for continued growth and success in the application delivery and security space.
