Ideal Power Accelerates Commercialization and Expands B-TRAN Ecosystem
Ideal Power, a leading technology company, has made significant strides in accelerating commercialization and expanding its B-TRAN ecosystem. In their recent Q4 2025 conference call, the company announced several key partnerships and milestones that demonstrate its commitment to delivering increased value to shareholders and customers.
One of the most notable announcements was a multi-year strategic cooperation agreement with Lasin, a leading circuit protection solutions provider in Asia. This partnership will enable the design, development, and worldwide sales of a portfolio of B-TRAN enabled circuit protection products, including solid-state circuit breakers, battery disconnect units, and EV contactors.
"We're thrilled to partner with Lasin on this exciting opportunity," said David Somo, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ideal Power. "Their expertise in circuit protection solutions combined with our B-TRAN technology will create a compelling value proposition for customers in the AI data center, intelligent grid, renewable energy, and energy storage markets."
Another significant partnership announced by Ideal Power was a letter of intent with a leading power module manufacturer in Asia to develop and offer a family of B-TRAN based power modules. This customer already provides a portfolio of IGBT and silicon carbide modules and sees compelling value in B-TRAN's inherent competitive advantages.
"We're proud to be working with a company that shares our vision for innovation and growth," said Somo. "This partnership will enable us to deliver customized solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers in the EV market."
Ideal Power also highlighted its continued progress with Stellantis, including the completion of the first deliverable under their existing purchase order for custom development and packaged B-TRAN devices for EV applications. The company expects to complete the remaining four deliverables by mid-2026.
"Our partnership with Stellantis is a testament to the value of our B-TRAN technology in the EV market," said Somo. "We're committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet their needs and exceed customer expectations."
Additionally, Ideal Power announced that its B-TRAN patent estate has grown to 100 issued patents, with 48 of those issued outside of the United States. The company's patent coverage spans key geographies such as North America, China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, India, and Europe.
"Our intellectual property is a critical component of our business strategy," said Somo. "We're committed to safeguarding our IP through trade secrets, confidentiality agreements, and strict IP protocols."
In conclusion, Ideal Power's Q4 2025 conference call demonstrates the company's commitment to accelerating commercialization and expanding its B-TRAN ecosystem. With strategic partnerships and significant milestones achieved, Ideal Power is well-positioned for growth and success in the years ahead.
