Kandi Technologies Group Inc. Surpasses Expectations with 57.4% Revenue Growth in Q2 2026

Kandi Technologies Group Inc., a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has reported impressive financial results for the first half of 2026. In a recent conference call, the company's CEO, Mr. Feng Chen, highlighted key highlights from the quarter, showcasing a new phase in Kandi's strategic transformation.

One of the standout features of Kandi's Q2 2026 performance was the growth momentum of its core business, which drove robust gains in both top and bottom lines. Revenue from the company's off-road electric vehicle business increased by 59.4% year-over-year to $54.2 million, with Rawrr, an electric off-road motorcycle brand acquired in February 2026, contributing $6.1 million to this growth.

Higher revenue and gross profit, combined with relatively stable operating expenses, led to a return to operating profitability and a significant improvement in earnings. Net income rose by 452.2% year-over-year to $9.4 million, demonstrating the company's ability to deliver strong financial performance despite industry challenges.

The conference call also touched on Kandi's battery-swapping business, which is gaining commercial traction. The company has invested heavily in this area and is now poised to become an important growth driver. Additionally, Mr. Chen discussed the company's efforts to build out its off-road vehicle dealer network, refine its retail partnership strategy, and advance its intelligent robotics and energy solutions businesses.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Chen emphasized Kandi's dual engine strategy, which aims to strengthen its core North American off-road electric vehicle business while cultivating new growth drivers in energy and intelligent equipment. This approach is expected to diversify the company's revenue base and growth drivers over time.

Looking ahead, Kandi has set priorities to improve product competitiveness and sales channel efficiency in its core business while tailoring commercialization efforts for new businesses to each stage of development. With this strategic plan in place, the company is well-positioned to drive continued growth and success in the electric vehicle market.
