Marvell Delivers Record-Breaking Quarter with 27% Year-Over-Year Revenue Growth

In its latest conference call, Marvell Technology, Inc. reported a record-breaking fourth quarter for fiscal year 2025, surpassing revenue expectations and achieving significant growth across various end markets.

The company's data center end market was the primary driver of growth, fueled by strong demand for artificial intelligence (AI) solutions and execution from the company's custom silicon programs. Revenue in this segment grew 78% year-over-year and 24% sequentially, reaching $1.37 billion in the fourth quarter.

Marvell's Chairman and CEO, Matt Murphy, highlighted the company's achievements during the conference call, stating that they delivered record revenue of $1.817 billion, growing 20% sequentially and 27% year-over-year. The company also achieved GAAP profitability in the fourth quarter and expects this to continue in fiscal 2026.

The company's non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.60 exceeded the midpoint of guidance, growing 40% sequentially. This significant earnings growth rate underscored the substantial operating leverage in Marvell's business model. For the full fiscal year 2025, the company delivered $5.77 billion in aggregate revenue, with data center revenue growing 88% year-over-year.

Marvell also reported a record $1.68 billion in operating cash flow and significantly increased capital returns to stockholders through stock repurchases and dividends totaling $933 million in aggregate during fiscal 2025.

The company's custom silicon programs played a crucial role in driving growth, particularly in the data center segment. Marvell's electro-optics franchises also saw strong demand for their market-leading products, including the 800 gig PAM and 400 ZR DCI products. The company began shipments of the industry's first 1.6T PAM DSP and 5-nanometer process technology, further optimizing AI interconnect performance.

As the distributed nature of compute and AI becomes increasingly critical, Marvell's expertise in high-speed networking and AI data centers positions the company as a leader in this space. The design of next-generation accelerated infrastructure is closely tied to efficient data movement on and off accelerators and throughout clusters.

With its record-breaking quarter and robust year-over-year revenue growth forecast for fiscal 2026, Marvell is poised for continued success in the market.
