Marvell Surpasses $11 Billion Revenue Mark, Drives Data Center Growth

Marvell Technology, Inc. has announced record-breaking revenue for the fourth quarter and fiscal year 2026, exceeding expectations in both periods. The company's Q4 2026 earnings call transcript revealed a significant increase in revenue, with Marvell delivering $2.219 billion in revenue, representing 7% sequential growth.

The company attributed this success to strong demand in its data center end market, where revenue exceeded the midpoint of guidance driven by robust sales of interconnect, switching and storage products, as well as a strong ramp in custom business, which doubled in fiscal 2026. This performance was led by the Data Center Group, which surpassed $6 billion in revenue for the year, growing 46% year-over-year.

Looking ahead to fiscal 2027, Marvell expects revenue growth of over 30%, with total company revenue forecasted to approach $11 billion. The company's data center business is driving this increase, with bookings accelerating at a record pace and all key product lines expected to be stronger than previously anticipated.

Notably, Marvell's CEO Matt Murphy emphasized the strategic importance of recent acquisitions, such as Celestial AI and Xconn, which strengthen the company's technology platform and position it in the rapidly emerging AI scale-up networking market. These additions are expected to contribute meaningfully to revenue starting fiscal 2028.

The strong demand for Marvell's products is reflected in its guidance for Q1 fiscal 2027, with total company revenue forecasted to grow 8% sequentially at the midpoint to $2.4 billion. This would result in Q4 revenue exceeding $3 billion, exiting this year.

Marvell's CEO Matt Murphy said during the earnings call that "we expect to grow revenue every quarter this fiscal year at a similarly strong sequential rate," implying an acceleration of year-over-year growth throughout fiscal 2027. The company's data center business is expected to continue its impressive growth, with interconnect business alone forecasted to grow more than 50% year-over-year.

Marvell's outlook for fiscal 2027 has increased significantly since the previous update in December 2025, from $9.5 billion to approaching $11 billion, driven by organic growth within its data center business. This robust demand is expected to continue throughout the year, positioning Marvell for another successful period.
