NIO Inc. Roars Back to Growth with Record-Breaking Deliveries and Profitability


NIO Inc., a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has delivered a stellar performance in Q4 2025, achieving record-breaking deliveries and profitability across its three brands - NIO, ONVO, and Firefly.

The company's quarterly deliveries reached an all-time high of 124,807 smart EVs, marking a year-over-year increase of 71.7%. This milestone achievement demonstrates the growing demand for NIO's products and its ability to meet customer needs. For the full year 2025, the three brands collectively delivered 326,028 vehicles, representing a 46.9% year-over-year growth.

In Q4, NIO's vehicle margin reached 18.1%, a significant improvement driven by strong sales growth, a higher mix of high-margin models, and continued vehicle cost optimization. The company's services and community-related businesses also saw expanding scale and improving profitability, contributing to the 11.9% margin achieved in other sales.

"We've been serving a broader group of users through our three brands - NIO, ONVO, and Firefly," said William Li, Founder, Chairman of the Board, and CEO of NIO Inc., during the Q4 earnings conference call. "The three brands have been well-recognized by users in their respective segments."

NIO's product lineup is also expected to see significant upgrades with the introduction of new models. The company will launch the ES9 executive flagship SUV, featuring industry-leading technologies and delivering a luxurious experience for users. Additionally, the 2026 versions of ET5, ET5T, ES6, and EC6 will be introduced in Q2.

The company's financial performance has also been impressive, with non-GAAP operating profit reaching RMB1.25 billion in Q4 and GAAP operating profit reaching RMB810 million. NIO achieved positive free cash flow for two consecutive quarters and positive operating cash flow for the full year of 2025.
