Nutanix Surpasses Guidance in Q3 2025 with Strong ARR Growth and Land & Expand Wins

Nutanix has reported a robust third quarter performance, surpassing its guidance on key metrics. The company's strong results were driven by the resilience of its cloud platform, growing demand from businesses seeking long-term partnerships, and enhanced go-to-market leverage through strategic partnerships.

According to Rajiv Ramaswami, Nutanix President and CEO, the company exceeded all guided metrics in Q3 2025. ARR grew 18% year-over-year to $2.14 billion, with strong free cash flow generation also reported. New logo growth continued its upward trajectory across all customer segments.

A notable highlight of the quarter was a large land and expand win involving a Fortune Global 500 provider of technology and services in the EMEA region. The company's existing infrastructure supplier had been acquired by another entity, prompting concerns among customers about service continuity. In response to these fears, Nutanix engaged with this customer over two years, eventually securing the entire incumbent supplier replacement contract.

Another significant win involved a 7-figure expansion deal signed with an EMEA-based IT solutions provider. The company initially adopted GPT in a box (1.0) along with Red Hat OpenShift for managing Kubernetes but opted to expand their partnership with Nutanix by embracing its GPT box 2 solution, including Nutanix Enterprise AI and replacing OpenShift with the Nutanix Kubernetes platform.

In addition to these notable wins, a prominent asset manager in North America also chose Nutanix for their hybrid multi-cloud requirements. This customer was dissatisfied with recent changes at their existing infrastructure provider and sought an alternative capable of operating across private and public cloud environments. They selected Nutanix Store platform along with NC2 on AWS through the AWS Marketplace due to its consistent management, self-service features, and automation.

Rajiv Ramaswami pointed out that these wins demonstrated Nutanix' ability to land and expand into large and demanding organizations seeking modern IT footprints and hybrid multi-cloud operating models. He further noted that a key factor driving customer adoption was the value proposition of Nutanix as a trusted long-term partner capable of providing go-to-market leverage through strategic partnerships.
