Red Cat Roars into 2026 with Record-Breaking Q4 Results

Red Cat's fourth quarter and full year 2025 earnings call was a resounding success, showcasing the company's remarkable growth and innovative approach to unmanned systems. CEO Jeff Thompson took the stage, joined by COO Chris Ericson and CFO Christian Morrison, to share the company's extraordinary Q4 results.

With annualized revenues exceeding $100 million, Red Cat demonstrated its continued dominance in the market. The company's impressive performance was underscored by Thompson, who emphasized that these results would be a benchmark for future success. "A year ago, we announced our new mission, Maritime USVs," he said, highlighting the company's commitment to expanding its product offerings.

Red Cat's Maritime USV program has been a game-changer, with the company securing a lease for 155,000 sq ft in Georgia and establishing a factory that will produce over 100 USVs in 2026. This strategic move opens up new markets for Red Cat, allowing its Blue Ops USVs to operate from anywhere in the world. The implications are profound, as Thompson noted: "Our family of systems was limited to 30% of Earth. With our new Variant 7 and other hulls, we can now launch from 100% of the globe."

The company's Blue Ops program has already demonstrated its capabilities, showcasing short-range and long-range counter-drone capabilities during Innovation Day. The Aion Zeus and ACS Bullfrog systems, mounted on the Variant 7 USV, offer a potent deterrent against drones up to 1,500 yards. This technology has significant implications for global security, as Thompson highlighted: "We believe Blue Ops could be very helpful in Venezuela, in the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Gulf of America, Cuba, and urgently in the Strait of Hormuz."

Red Cat's work with the Black Widow program in Ukraine was also a major focus of the earnings call. Chris Ericson provided an update on this critical mission, which aimed to replace Chinese ISR drones with Red Cat technology. The team received a letter of request (LOR) and is working closely with Ukrainian forces to deliver this vital capability.

As the company looks ahead to 2026, it's clear that Red Cat is poised for continued success. With its innovative products and expanding global reach, the company is well-positioned to address the growing demand for unmanned systems in various markets. As Thompson noted, "We believe that our Blue Ops USVs can keep our warfighters out of harm's way and make them more lethal."

With record-breaking Q4 results and a strong foundation in place, Red Cat is ready to take on new challenges and solidify its position as a leader in the unmanned systems industry.
