Samsara Soars: Q4 Earnings Exceed Expectations

Samsara, the leading provider of connected operations platform, has announced its fourth-quarter fiscal 2025 financial results, exceeding expectations in terms of growth and profitability. The company reported a non-GAAP ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) of $1.46 billion, representing a 32% year-over-year growth or 33% year-over-year adjusted growth.
Sanjit Biswas, Samsara's Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, highlighted the company's durable and efficient growth, driven by its partnership with some of the world's largest and most complex operations organizations. The company has grown its customers with more than $100,000 in ARR to 2,506, an increase of 36% year-over-year.
One of the key highlights of the quarter was the significant milestone achieved in landing large enterprise customers. In Q4, Samsara won one of the top 3 telecommunication companies in the world, one of the top 3 LTL carriers in the U.S., and Bimbo Bakeries, the largest commercial vacant company in the U.S. These customers have complex sales cycles that often span several years and are less predictable.
"We're proud to partner with our customers to transform how the world runs," said Sanjit Biswas. "Our customers choose us because we help them operate smarter with our connected operations platform." The platform includes features such as AI camera alerts, deal savings with routing, asset utilization with location tracking alerts, maintenance with vehicle diagnostics and workflows for frontline workers.
One example of a customer who has achieved incredible outcomes with Samsara's platform is one of North America's largest do-it-yourself moving and storage operators. They operate nearly 200,000 trucks, nearly 140,000 trailers, and 250,000 portable storage boxes, with over 23,000 rental locations. By adding more than 10,000 asset tags to track their new portable storage boxes, they were able to improve their end customer experience and estimate a $1 million savings across safety, idling, and maintenance costs.
"In a pilot with us, they saw a 61% reduction in safety events and 82% reduction in distracted driving events and a 47% reduction in harsh driving events," said Sanjit Biswas. "We're proud to partner with our customers to achieve these incredible outcomes with better insights."
The company's growth is driven by its ability to provide actionable insights to its customers, improving the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations. With a rare combination of growth, scale, and profitability, Samsara is well-positioned for future success.
