Samsara Speeds Ahead in Q4 2026 with Durable and Efficient Growth

Sanjit Biswas, CEO and Co-founder of Samsara, was thrilled to report on the company's outstanding performance in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026. In a recent conference call, Sanjit highlighted the significant growth achieved by the company, with $1.9 billion in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), representing a 30% year-over-year increase.

The key driver behind this impressive growth was the addition of $432 million in net new ARR, which demonstrates Samsara's ability to accelerate its growth even as it operates at a larger scale. This momentum is particularly strong with the company's largest customers, who now account for $1.2 billion of ARR, a 37% year-over-year increase and the second consecutive quarter of sequential acceleration.

Sanjit emphasized that Samsara is uniquely positioned to help digitize the world of physical operations by combining hardware devices, cloud connectivity, deep AI, and data integrations. At the heart of this competitive advantage lies the company's proprietary data asset, which includes everything from dashcam imagery captured across hundreds of millions of miles of roads daily to specific maintenance inspection workflows and service routes.

With over 25 trillion data points flowing through its platform every year, Samsara has a significant moat that fuels a powerful data network effect. As the company adds more customers and assets, its AI models become more insightful for everyone on the platform, creating a compounding advantage that is difficult for others to replicate.

Sanjit also discussed Samsara's vision of fully digitized operations, which occurs in three distinct phases. The first phase involves connecting the world's physical operations, while the second phase focuses on analyzing data to surface actionable operational insights. The third phase includes automating entire workflows with proprietary AI agents.

During the call, Sanjit provided several examples of how Samsara's customers benefit from digitizing their operations. For instance, by connecting their operations to the cloud using IoT hardware, service businesses can gain operational benefits such as protecting frontline workers from false claims and liability with HD video evidence, delivering best-in-class customer service with live locations to provide accurate ETAs, and ensuring compliance with asset and worker monitoring.

Sanjit believes that the multi-decade effort to connect the world's physical operations creates a durable, long-term growth opportunity for Samsara. With its proprietary data asset and AI capabilities, the company is well-positioned to help businesses transform their operations and achieve significant ROI.
