Snail, Inc. Achieves Record-Breaking Quarter with Strong ASA Performance
Snail, Inc., the parent company of popular survival game franchise ARK, has reported a record-breaking quarter with strong performance from its flagship title, ASA (Ark Survival Evolved). In a recent conference call, the company's executives highlighted key milestones achieved in Q4 and full-year 2025.
The standout performer was ASA, which sold approximately 692,000 units during the quarter, with an average Daily Active User (DAU) of over 91,000 and a peak DAU of 147,000. This impressive showing propelled the title past four million units sold since its launch in 2023.
The company also announced that ARK Mobile, another key title within the franchise, has surpassed the significant milestone of 10 million cumulative downloads and maintained a steady DAU average of approximately 130,000.
ASA's success was driven in part by the release of its first major standalone DLC, ARK: Lost Colony, which generated pre-sale demands exceeding internal projections. This expansion pack marked a significant shift for the franchise, delivering an immersive and content-rich experience that deepened the ASA universe.
The Q4 performance was further bolstered by the steady contribution of ASE (Ark Survival Evolved: Explorer's Edition), which sold approximately 580,000 units during the quarter, with an average DAU of roughly 105,000 and a peak DAU of about 137,000.
Looking ahead, Snail, Inc. has outlined a comprehensive multi-year content roadmap for ASA that includes four major DLCs and content updates, starting with the ARK: Survival of the Fittest Remake. This strategy aims to deepen the ASA universe, elevate engagement, and support durable long-term growth for the franchise.
The company's executives expressed excitement about the franchise's momentum-building year in 2025, citing advances across its broader portfolio and initiatives. As Snail, Inc. enters this next phase of content-rich expansion, investors remain optimistic about the ARK franchise's continued strength and potential for long-term growth.
