Twilio Delivers Record-Breaking Q4 with 11% YoY Revenue Growth, Achieves First Quarterly GAAP Operating Profitability

Twilio Inc. has announced a remarkable fourth quarter in 2024, showcasing impressive growth and profitability milestones. The company's revenue reached $1.195 billion, marking an 11% increase year-over-year (YoY), and achieving double-digit growth for the second consecutive quarter.

In his opening remarks on the Q4 earnings conference call, Khozema Shipchandler, Chief Executive Officer of Twilio, highlighted the company's success in balancing innovation, growth, and profitability. "Twilio had a terrific Q4," he stated, adding that it was an important milestone as it marked the first time the company has delivered quarterly GAAP operating profitability in its history.

The full-year revenue for 2024 stood at $4.458 billion, representing 9% organic growth YoY. Notably, Twilio's net burn rate and outstanding share count have been reduced meaningfully since 2022, while annual free cash flow has increased by nearly $1 billion over the same period.
