Weibo's Q4 2025 Results Showcase Resilience Amid Industry Shifts
Weibo, the Chinese microblogging platform, has released its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2025 financial results, highlighting a resilient performance in the face of industry-wide changes.
The company reported total revenues of $473.3 million for Q4 2025, representing a 4% year-over-year increase. Total ad revenues reached $403.8 million, up 5% from the same period last year. Value-Added Service (VAS) revenues, however, experienced a 2% decrease to $69.5 million.
For the full year 2025, Weibo's total revenues remained relatively flat at $1.76 billion, while total ad revenues also stayed steady at $1.5 billion. VAS revenues were similarly flat at $255.6 million. Non-GAAP operating income reached $503.6 million, with a non-GAAP operating margin of 30%.
In terms of user growth and engagement, Weibo's MAUs (Monthly Active Users) in December 2025 reached 567 million, while average DAUs (Daily Active Users) stood at 252 million. The company emphasized its focus on enhancing user value, solidifying its leading position in hot topics and entertainment content ecosystems, and strengthening the competitiveness of its social products.
Regarding product operation and monetization, Weibo highlighted key developments in Q4 2025. The company leveraged interest-based feed as the primary interface for its new homepage, aiming to expand from relationship-based mechanisms and distribute content more effectively.
"We focused on enhancing user value, solidifying Weibo's leading position in hot topics and entertainment content ecosystems, and strengthening the competitiveness of our social products," said Gaofei Wang, CEO of Weibo. "At the same time, we leveraged to improve our recommendation and search systems, driving both user base and engagement."
Weibo's Q4 2025 results demonstrate its ability to adapt to changing market conditions while maintaining a strong performance in key areas such as ad revenue and non-GAAP operating income.
