WisdomTree Achieves Record-Breaking Q1 2026 Performance
On May 1st, WisdomTree reported its quarterly earnings for Q1 2026, showcasing a remarkable performance that exceeds expectations. The company's first quarter results demonstrate the strength and resilience of its business, driven by a combination of organic growth, strategic expansion, and favorable market conditions.
In a call that highlighted key highlights from the quarter, WisdomTree CFO Bryan Edmiston reported record Assets Under Management (AUM) reaching $152.6 billion, marking the fifth consecutive quarter of record AUM and an 8% increase from year-end. This growth was broad-based across its US, European, and digital asset platforms.
The company generated a staggering $5.9 billion in net inflows globally, boasting a 17% annualized organic growth rate. Flows were led by international equity exposures, with notable strength in UCITS thematic products, particularly in European defense and rare earth funds. Fixed income also contributed significantly, as well as leveraged and inverse suite, which capitalized on elevated volatility in commodity markets.
A key takeaway from the call was the skewing of flows toward higher-fee products, resulting in a 1 basis point increase in WisdomTree's average advisory fee during the quarter. The acquisition of Atlantic House, a U.K.-based asset manager with approximately $4 billion in AUM, further enhanced the company's product capabilities and distribution footprint across Europe.
Atlantic House brought complementary revenue streams, including structuring fees from bespoke investment solutions, which totaled $13 million during 2025. These revenue streams collectively contribute to an overall revenue yield of around 95 basis points. The transaction is expected to increase WisdomTree's overall revenue yield by almost 2 basis points and be modestly accretive.
The acquisition was financed through recently issued convertible notes, which will further support higher-quality revenue growth over time. Overall, the company's record AUM and strong organic growth underscore its resilience and ability to drive long-term shareholder value.
Global AUM stands at approximately $164.3 billion, up almost $12 billion or 8% from March 31st, driven by favorable market conditions, approximately $800 million of net inflows, and the inclusion of Atlantic House. Revenues were $159.5 million during the quarter, a significant increase of 48% from the prior year's quarter.
Adjusted operating margin has expanded 770 basis points compared to the prior year quarter, with adjusted net income standing at $40.6 million or $0.27 per share. This performance demonstrates WisdomTree's ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic market environment, setting the stage for continued growth and success.
