Workhorse Surpasses 20 Million Miles in Customer Fleets, Achieves Key Integration Milestones
Workhorse, a leading North American medium-duty commercial vehicle OEM, has achieved significant milestones in its Q4 and full year 2025 earnings report. The company's Chief Executive Officer, Scott Griffith, highlighted the importance of this moment, stating that it marks a milestone for Workhorse as the combined company following its merger with Motiv Electric Trucks in December 2025.
Griffith took the stage to discuss Workhorse's accomplishments and future plans. With over 20 years of combined operating experience and more than $860 million in previously invested capital, Workhorse has established itself as a major player in the medium-duty truck market. The company boasts an impressive portfolio spanning classes four, five, and six and serves some of the largest commercial and public sector fleets in North America.
One notable achievement is that Workhorse's vehicles have surpassed 20 million real-world miles across more than 1,100 deployed units, with consistent documented results. This demonstrates the reliability and effectiveness of the company's platform in meeting customer needs. Furthermore, Workhorse has seen repeat purchase behavior from customers, a strong signal of satisfaction within this market.
In its Q4 and full-year report, Workhorse made three clear commitments: complete the integration, expand its product portfolio, and strengthen its financial position. The company reported that it had nearly completed workforce and office integrations, finished reviewing enterprise systems and operating processes, and is targeting $20 million in annualized cost synergies from the merger by the end of 2026.
The new Workhorse is working on a new cycle plan and product roadmap to unlock larger market share in the commercial truck marketplace. This will be achieved through commonization of key components and development of proprietary Class five-six cab chassis. Additionally, Workhorse aims to complete full enterprise integration over the next two-to-three quarters with manufacturing consolidation at Union City, Indiana wrapping up by Q2 2026.
These milestones demonstrate Workhorse's growth, commitment, and forward-thinking approach in meeting customer demands while expanding its presence in the medium-duty truck market. With such achievements and a strong foundation, Workhorse is poised for continued success and expansion.
