Eagle Materials Soars to Record Heights in Q4 2025: Employee Health and Safety, Sustainability, and Strategic Expansion Take Center Stage

The Eagle Materials Fourth Quarter and Fiscal 2025 Earnings Conference Call was a testament to the company's resilience and commitment to excellence. Despite the challenges posed by the economy, Eagle Materials has once again defied expectations and achieved record-breaking financial results.
At the helm of this success story is President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Haack, who proudly announced that the company generated a record $2.3 billion in revenue and earnings per share of $13.77 in fiscal 2025. This achievement marks the fourth consecutive year of record-breaking financial results for Eagle Materials.
Haack attributed this success to the tireless efforts of Eagle's dedicated employees, who have made significant contributions to the company's safety culture. In a remarkable feat, Eagle Materials has achieved its lowest total recordable injury rate (TRIR) in company history, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to employee health and safety. The company's dedication to this cause is evident in its rollout of the 'Eagle Safe' program, a series of standardized best practices aimed at focusing efforts on critical safety issues.
Eagle Materials has also made significant strides in sustainability. A $22 million project to upgrade its wastewater treatment facility at the paper mill will reduce water consumption by 50% and lower energy costs through a more closed-loop system. Furthermore, the company has successfully completed an alternative fuel feeder installation at its Illinois Cement plant and is nearing completion of another project using recycled tires.
The conference call highlighted Eagle Materials' strategic expansion plans, with several key investments aimed at enhancing its ability to serve customers across its geographic footprint. In Aggregates, the company acquired two pure-play aggregate operations in Kentucky and Western Pennsylvania, significantly increasing its aggregate production capacity by 50%. Additionally, the commissioning of its Texas Lehigh slag facility will provide additional cementitious tons to the Texas market.
Haack expressed his gratitude towards Eagle Materials' employees for their dedication and emphasized that this achievement would not have been possible without their hard work. He also highlighted the company's focus on diligence around safety, sustainability, and efficiency, which has led to improved results holistically.
