Fortive Corporation: Delivering Strong Financial Performance and Accelerating Growth

On July 29th, Fortive Corporation hosted its second-quarter 2026 earnings results conference call, highlighting strong financial performance and continued execution of the company's Fortive Accelerated strategy. During the call, Olumide Soroye, President and CEO, along with Mark Okerstrom, CFO, provided insights into the company's progress.

Fortive delivered a consolidated revenue growth of 6.7%, adjusted EBITDA growth of 12%, and adjusted EPS growth of 28% in Q2 2026. These results reflect continued progress on the company's objective of driving faster profitable organic growth powered by the Fortive Business System Amplified.

The company remained disciplined in its capital allocation approach, executing a small bolt-on acquisition and deploying $200 million to share repurchases. This brings total share repurchases since the launch of New Fortive a year ago to approximately 38 million shares or 11% of shares outstanding.

Fortive continued to execute its Fortive Accelerated strategy, with evidence that investments in innovation, commercial, and recurring customer value are contributing to accelerating growth, margin expansion, and earnings performance. This reinforces the company's confidence in its medium-term financial framework and value creation opportunity.

The company raised its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to $2.95 to $3.05, reflecting solid first-half performance and confidence in the trajectory of the business. Fortive's President and CEO, Olumide Soroye, highlighted some of the progress made in executing the three pillars of the Fortive Accelerated strategy.

One of the key areas of focus is delivering faster profitable organic growth. The company remains encouraged by the progress seen across innovation, commercial, and recurring customer value. Fluke's innovation funnel is expanding with new product introductions tightly aligned to strategic growth areas such as data centers, defense, and early-in-career technicians.

At Gordian, the Flash AI solution launched in Q1 is now in production across many of its strategic accounts and running well above plan, cutting construction cost estimating time from days to minutes. In healthcare, ASP received FDA clearance for their 50-pound expanded STERRAD load capacity, further strengthening their position in robotic-assisted surgery applications.

Fortive's commitment to innovation, commercialization, and recurring customer value is paying off, driving accelerating growth, margin expansion, and earnings performance. The company's confidence in its medium-term financial framework and value creation opportunity is evident in its raised full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance.
