Logitech Kicks Off Fiscal Year with Strong Q1 Results

Logitech, a leading global provider of computing and consumer electronics products, has kicked off its fiscal year 2027 on a high note. The company's first quarter (Q1) results have exceeded expectations, driven by strong operational performance, strategic priorities, and growing demand in key markets.

In a recent conference call to discuss Q1 results, Hanneke Faber, Logitech's CEO, highlighted the company's 5% net sales growth in constant currency, marking its tenth consecutive quarter of growth. Despite tight component sourcing, elevated component and shipping costs, and ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Logitech's business performed well.

The company's strong operational performance was driven by its strategic priorities, including superior products and innovation. The MX Master 4 mouse and PRO X 2 SUPERLIGHT gaming mouse have been top-sellers since their launch, with sales scaling at an exceptional clip. These super-premium products feature unique technologies that help professionals work more productively and enable gamers to win.

Logitech's elevated marketing efforts are also supporting the success of its products. In gaming, the company's partnerships with iconic brands like NASCAR, McLaren, Call of Duty, and top pro gaming teams have helped accelerate growth this quarter. On the work side, Logitech is investing more in creators and social commerce, anchored by a fast-growing roster of influencers.

The company's video collaboration net sales grew 9% in constant currency this quarter, extending momentum built over the past year. Logitech's video conferencing solutions are now used by more than 70% of Fortune 500 companies, putting it on a very short list of preferred suppliers as organizations refresh and expand their meeting spaces.

Logitech's geographic diversity has also paid off, allowing the company to balance tough spots like the Middle East with terrific demand-led growth in the Americas, continued strength in China, and significant market share gains in Europe. The company's operational excellence has driven results, despite a volatile and uncertain macroeconomic environment.

As Logitech looks ahead, it expects the demand momentum created to continue. However, a new serious incident at one of its suppliers is likely to temporarily impact its ability to fully meet demand. Despite this challenge, Logitech remains committed to operational rigor and believes in its ability to execute on its strategic pillars and position itself well for long-term success.

Matteo Anversa, Logitech's CFO, noted that the company's teams have navigated a difficult operational backdrop throughout the quarter and delivered very strong results. With a solid foundation established, Logitech is poised to continue delivering superior innovation at pace and driving growth across its key markets.
