Orrstown Financial Services Inc. Reports Strong Q2 2026 Earnings

Orrstown Financial Services Inc., a leading financial services provider, has reported strong earnings for its second quarter of 2026. In a conference call held on July 22, 2026, the company's President and Chief Executive Officer, Adam Metz, highlighted the firm's excellent performance during the period.

Net income for the quarter was $21.2 million, or $1.09 per diluted share, with return on average assets (ROAA) and return on average equity (ROAE) exceeding peer multiples. The company's net interest margin improved 10 basis points to 4%, with fee income contributing 22.1% of total operating income.

The redemption of the remaining subordinate notes resulted in a charge of $1.6 million, but is expected to enhance future results. Despite higher than expected payoffs and paydowns, the bank achieved annualized loan growth of 5%, with a significant portion of that growth occurring late in the quarter and therefore having a limited impact on second-quarter interest income.

Neil Keleani, Orrstown's Chief Financial Officer, provided further details on the company's quarterly results, highlighting the expansion of its net interest margin. He attributed this to a combination of actions on the funding side, including adjustments in deposit costs and the influx of deposits in the first quarter.

"Our deposit costs have bottomed out at this stage," Keleani said during the conference call. "The previous guidance for net interest margin in the range of 3.90%-4% for 2026 remains, and that's excluding the $1.6 million charge. With the deliberate steps we took in the first half of this year and our continued focus on deposit mix, I now expect that we'll be in the higher end of that range for the full year on an adjusted basis."

The company's credit quality remained strong during the quarter, with classified loans and non-accrual loans both decreasing quarter to quarter. Orrstown maintains a long-term focus on generating earnings and growth to continually build shareholder value.

In support of this strategy, the board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.30 per share payable in August. The company's commitment to delivering strong financial results and returning value to shareholders has been demonstrated through its consistent performance over the past quarter.
