Innate Pharma Sets Stage for Catalyst-Rich H2 2026 with Lacutamab, IPH4502, and Monalizumab Updates
On the heels of a strategic partnership with Sobi to advance its lacutamab program in T-cell lymphoma, Innate Pharma has outlined an exciting roadmap for the remainder of 2026. In a recent conference call, the company's CEO, Jonathan Dickinson, highlighted key developments across its focused portfolio that position Innate for several important catalysts in the second half of this year.
The first of these is lacutamab, an anti-KIR3DL2 antibody being developed for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma or CTCL. In August, Innate announced a strategic partnership with Sobi to license lacutamab in T-cell lymphoma, which has now closed. The confirmatory phase III study, TELLOMAK-3, has been initiated, with the first patient expected in Q1 2027.
According to Jonathan Dickinson, this study will serve as a registrational cohort for Sèzary syndrome, with the potential for accelerated approval based on existing phase II data. Upon positive phase III results, Sobi will be eligible to obtain full global development rights. The agreement includes a $75 million upfront payment, up to $40 million in near-term milestones related to Sèzary syndrome, and up to an additional $465 million connected to future regulatory and commercial milestones.
Innate's pipeline also includes IPH4502, which has completed phase I dose escalation and cohort enrichment enrollment. Preliminary anti-tumor activity has been observed in post-enfortumab vedotin urothelial cancer, as well as in non-small cell lung cancer and head and neck cancer, with a favorable safety profile to date.
The company will share initial phase I dose escalation data at the EORTC-NCI-AACR meeting on November 18, 2026, in Barcelona. Additionally, enrollment in the PACIFIC-9 phase III study for monalizumab has been completed, with a phase III readout expected in the second half of this year.
Financially, Innate's position has been strengthened by the $75 million Sobi upfront payment and the $30 million equity financing. These funds are expected to extend the company's projected cash runway through Q1 2028.
Taken together, these developments demonstrate Innate Pharma's commitment to advancing its pipeline and positioning itself for future growth. With several important catalysts on the horizon, investors will be keenly watching Innate's progress in the second half of this year."
