Silvaco Surges Ahead: Q4 2025 Delivers Strong Growth Amid Turnaround Plan

Good afternoon and welcome to the world of Silvaco, where innovation meets growth. The semiconductor technology company has just reported its Q4 2025 conference call results, and the numbers are nothing short of impressive.

The company's Chief Financial Officer, Chris Zegarelli, kicked off the call by highlighting the strong performance in the fourth quarter of 2025. Under the leadership of CEO Wally Rhines, Silvaco has successfully executed its turnaround plan, achieving results that exceeded expectations.

One of the key highlights from Q4 was the significant growth in bookings and revenue for the TCAD business. With a 70% sequential increase in bookings to $9.2 million and a 34% sequential increase in revenue to $8.7 million, this segment has truly come into its own.

The adoption of Silvaco's AI-driven solution, FTCO, by a second customer outside the memory segment is also a major milestone. This achievement confirms the value proposition of Silvaco's unique set of AI capabilities and opens up significant opportunities ahead.

Wally Rhines proudly highlighted that the company has reached an important milestone in Q4 with the adoption of FTCO, a testament to the company's focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. The fact that this win was achieved outside the memory segment further emphasizes the versatility and potential of Silvaco's AI-driven solution.

In addition to the TCAD business, Silvaco also saw a significant inflection in the semiconductor IP business during Q4. Record IP revenue and bookings of over $5 million were driven by the company's first full quarter of Mixel revenue post-acquisition.

Mixel's industry-leading MIPI PHY IP continues to be highly sought after globally, thanks to its reputation for unparalleled quality. Silvaco is now leveraging its extensive sales force to drive growth in Mixel products and broadening its offerings from custom solutions to production-ready or Pro products.

The Pro portfolio has proven silicon-ready in nine different foundries and 12 manufacturing nodes, demonstrating the effectiveness of Silvaco's strategy. Moreover, Mixel IP has been shown to enable up to 35% reduction in die area and up to 50% reduction in leakage power, making it a highly attractive solution for semiconductor manufacturers.

As we move forward into 2026, expectations are high for Silvaco's continued growth. The pace of TCAD contract renewals is expected to accelerate, supporting the company's forecast that the TCAD business will grow sequentially throughout the year.
