VinFast Sets Sights on Global Domination with Record-Breaking Q4 2025 Performance
VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has made headlines with its exceptional performance in the fourth quarter of 2025. The company's quarterly earnings call, held earlier this month, revealed a series of impressive achievements that solidify VinFast's position as a leading player in the global EV market.
According to Chairwoman of the Board, Madam Thuy Le, VinFast's 2025 was marked by 'disciplined investment behind our core mission, making electric mobility accessible to everyone.' The company's strategic decisions, including investments in technology, industrial capabilities, and global expansion, have been guided by this objective. As a result, VinFast has established itself as the number one mobility brand in Vietnam, with over 400,000 cumulative cars delivered.
One of the standout achievements from Q4 2025 is VinFast's record-breaking deliveries. The company delivered 86,557 EVs in the quarter, exceeding its previous quarterly record and setting a new standard for the industry. This impressive performance was matched by the two-wheeler segment, which saw full-year deliveries grow by an astonishing 5.7x to 406,496 units.
Looking ahead to 2026, VinFast is targeting at least 300,000 EV deliveries, supported by the introduction of new models in international markets and the build-out of its dealer network across Asia, Europe, and North America. The company's two-wheeler segment is also expected to see significant growth, with deliveries projected to be at least 2.5x last year's volume.
VinFast's focus on scale and unit cost optimization will be key in achieving profitability in the coming years. The company's strategic investment plan includes overseas capacity expansion, the commercialization of its next-gen vehicles, and the integration of more AI across its vehicles and factories to deliver smart cars and efficient production.
