Virtuix Rings Up Strong Q4 Results Amidst Rising Demand for Full-Body VR Systems

The company Virtuix, a leading developer of AI-driven full-body virtual reality systems, recently reported its Q4 2026 earnings results, showcasing impressive growth and milestones in the consumer, defense, enterprise, and healthcare sectors.

During the conference call, Virtuix founder and CEO Jan Goetgeluk highlighted the company's achievements, stating that fiscal year 2026 was a "transformational" period for the company. He noted that full-year revenue grew by 18% year-over-year to $4.3 million, driven primarily by strong demand for its flagship product Omni One.

Goetgeluk emphasized that the growth in sales was not solely due to fulfilling pre-orders from previous years but rather a result of new sales, with December 2026 showing a 60% increase in new sales compared to the same period in the prior year. This surge in demand reflects a growing interest in full-body VR systems for consumer purposes.

The company's gross margin also turned sharply positive, reaching 25% compared to a negative 6% in the previous year. Operating expenses were reduced by 19%, demonstrating the company's efficiency in managing costs. As of the end of the fiscal year, Virtuix had $9 million in cash reserves.

Virtuix's technology enables natural full-body movement in 360 degrees inside virtual worlds, bringing a new level of immersion to video games and other applications across various sectors. The company has five core product offerings, including Omni One, Omni One for Quest, Omni One Core, Omni One Enterprise for industrial training, and Virtual Terrain Walk (VTW) for defense simulation.

The company's AI-driven 3D reconstruction technology, such as Gaussian splatting, allows for the transformation of 360-degree video footage into photorealistic, walkable 3D worlds in just hours. This innovation is being applied to VTW and driving adoption in the enterprise space for training purposes.

Virtuix's diversified revenue strategy combines high-volume consumer gaming and fitness with high-value defense and enterprise training, generating recurring revenues from software, games, and subscriptions for consumers and software licensing and custom simulation development for defense and enterprise customers.
