Xcel Brands Sees Bright Future Ahead as Social Media Reach Surpasses 46 Million

Xcel Brands, a leading global consumer products company, has made significant strides in the past year, according to its Q4 2025 earnings call. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert D'Loren shared updates on recent developments from Q4 2025 and the full calendar year 2025, as well as the company's outlook moving forward.

In a year marked by getting back to basics after enduring three years of setbacks caused by COVID and the bankruptcy of Lord & Taylor, Xcel Brands has laid the foundations for growth in the future. The company announced its new influencer-led brands with Cesar Millan, Gemma Stafford, Jenny Martinez, Coco Rocha, and Shannen Doherty, which have seen a significant increase in social media following, growing from 5 million to 46 million.

The interest in these new influencer-led brands has exceeded expectations, with Xcel Brands on track for wholesale shipments by its licensees beginning in the first quarter of 2026 and on-air programming on QVC and HSN commencing in the second quarter. Distribution in other channels is expected to follow later this year.

"We believe that these new influencer-led brands, combined with our legacy brands, each have the potential to reach our goal of achieving annual royalty income on average of $6 million per year by 2029," said Robert D'Loren. "This would imply a potential portfolio gross value for all of our existing influencer-led and legacy brands of $375 million."

Xcel Brands' social media reach across its portfolio is now at 46 million, and the company is well on its way to achieving its goal of 100 million social media followers across its brand portfolio. With a pipeline of new influencer-led brand opportunities in place, Xcel Brands seems to be positioned for success in the coming year.
