Aehr Test Systems Surpasses Q1 Fiscal 2027 Expectations with Record Revenue and Strong Bookings

Aehr Test Systems, a leading provider of wafer-level and package-level burn-in and test solutions for the semiconductor industry, has reported an outstanding start to fiscal 2027. According to the company's recent conference call transcript, Q1 revenue reached a record $33.0 million, increasing 200% year-over-year and 75% sequentially.

Gayn Erickson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aehr Test Systems, highlighted the strong demand in the AI and data center infrastructure markets during the company's first quarter results conference call. He stated, "We delivered an outstanding start to fiscal 2027 with record quarterly revenue, strong bookings, and significant progress across several major AI semiconductor customer programs."

The company's non-GAAP net income was $9.4 million, up 163% sequentially, reflecting the operating leverage in their business as revenue scales. Bookings totaled $46.7 million, representing a book-to-bill of 1.4, and the effective backlog reached $109.3 million as of November 1st.

Aehr Test Systems has raised its fiscal 2027 revenue outlook to $150 million, compared with the previous guidance range of $130 million to $150 million. This represents 200% revenue growth over fiscal 2026 and reflects growing confidence in production ramps and customer programs supporting their business. The company expects non-GAAP net income of at least 20% of revenue for the full fiscal year.

The demand for Aehr's solutions is driven by increasing semiconductor complexity, power requirements, and deployment in mission-critical applications. As devices become more advanced, comprehensive test and burn-in are becoming essential to ensure reliability and performance, driving growing adoption across multiple markets.

Chris Siu, Chief Financial Officer, will provide additional details on the company's financial outlook during future calls. The conference call transcript highlights significant progress with major suppliers of AI accelerators, CPUs, and network processors, including a major supplier that has decided to purchase a fully configured XP wafer-level burn-in test cell.
