Amer Sports Surpasses Expectations in Q2 2026 with Exceptional Revenue Growth

Amer Sports has made headlines once again with its outstanding performance in the second quarter of 2026. According to their recent earnings call, the company witnessed a significant surge in revenue growth, exceeding expectations across all segments and geographies.

The CEO, James Zheng, emphasized that this continued momentum is a testament to the unique portfolio of sports and outdoor brands managed by Amer Sports. The three primary growth engines – Arc'teryx, Salomon Softgoods, and Wilson Tennis 360 – are still relatively small but have shown tremendous potential for further growth.

One of the standout performers in this quarter was Arc'teryx, which delivered an exceptional result with broad-based strengths across regions, channels, and categories. The brand's technical apparel segment showed remarkable resilience, driven by a 17% omnichannel growth, while its women's category experienced double-digit growth for the first time, outpacing other segments.

The company attributes this success to improved fit, style, and function in their designs, as well as expanded assortments that cater to a growing female consumer base. Notably, new franchises such as Singiura and Oria lightweight hiking styles have generated over 60% of women's sales, with popular items like the Krakja, Rutja, and Nia pants driving higher overall spend.

In addition to Arc'teryx, Amer Sports' other segments also demonstrated impressive growth. Salomon Softgoods achieved double-digit revenue growth across regions, led by strong existing and new styles. Meanwhile, Wilson Tennis 360 experienced accelerated growth with its 360 acceleration strategy.

The company's commitment to sustainability is also worth highlighting. The ReBird program has continued to expand, with the addition of five new centers in Q2 alone, bringing the total count to 47. Later this month, Amer Sports will unveil an innovative new product that combines passion for sustainability with uncompromised technical performance.

CEO James Zheng noted that while these growth engines are still relatively small, they have significant room for expansion. The company's confidence in their women's opportunity is particularly high, driven by growing brand awareness and affinity among the female consumer base.

Amer Sports' Q2 2026 performance has set a new benchmark for the industry, demonstrating the company's ability to consistently deliver strong results across its diverse portfolio of brands. As investors and analysts await further guidance from CFO Andrew Page, one thing is clear: Amer Sports remains a force to be reckoned with in the global sports and outdoor industry.
