AppFolio Inc. Soars to New Heights with Record-Breaking Q3 2026 Results
AppFolio Inc., a leading provider of real estate management software, has reported another quarter of strong, consistent performance with record-breaking revenue and growth in its latest quarterly financial results.
In the third quarter of 2026, AppFolio achieved $296 million in revenue, a 19% year-over-year increase. The company's non-GAAP operating income was 27.3% of revenue, while GAAP operating income reached 19.4% of revenue. Notably, units on the platform grew to 9.8 million, demonstrating the company's expanding reach and customer base.
One of the highlights of the quarter was AppFolio's annual industry event, FUTURE, which brought together 2,500 real estate operators and innovators to share knowledge, best practices, and insights on how to achieve meaningful performance in their businesses. The event featured 130 sessions, 19 expert-led performance labs, and a sprawling Explore Floor showcasing the AppFolio performance platform and partners across its AppFolio Stack ecosystem.
Shane Trigg, Chairman and CEO of AppFolio, expressed pride and gratitude at watching over 60 customers take the stage as FUTURE speakers, sharing their experiences and expertise with peers. The key theme at FUTURE was that the future won't be won by organizations that simply keep up – it will be won by those who continuously level up.
AppFolio's vision for achieving a sustained competitive advantage lies in three interconnected systems: one of record, where data is securely stored and reflects the operator's business; one of action, where AI does the work with and for them; and one of growth, which turns exceptional experiences into business growth. Additionally, behaviors such as applying judgment, building relationships, and anticipating needs are essential to meeting a resident's need before they ask and bringing an owner a plan, not a problem.
As highlighted by Eucalyptus Real Estate, a family-owned operator that manages nearly 14,000 units across Oklahoma City, Wichita, and Topeka, rapid transformation is possible when operators pick the right platform with systems built in and make the right behaviors easy to adopt. Before switching to AppFolio in 2025, Eucalyptus ran their three cities independently using paper checks, work orders, scanned applications, and fax machines – a far cry from the streamlined efficiency they now enjoy.
With its commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and growth, AppFolio Inc. is poised for continued success in the real estate management software market.
