Bank7 Posts Stellar Q3 2026 Results Despite Market Challenges

Bank7, a leading financial institution in Texas and Oklahoma, has announced impressive third-quarter results despite facing significant market challenges. During the company's recent earnings call, President and CEO Tom Travis highlighted the team's exceptional performance, citing strong loan growth and robust deposit growth.

"Our loan team is functioning at a very high level," Travis stated, "and we're thankful for them." Despite substantial unscheduled paydowns from large customers, Bank7's loan growth was stronger than expected. The company's disciplined approach to loan pricing and deposit pricing enabled it to maintain a consistent net interest margin (NIM).

"We benefited from the robust economy and business-friendly markets in Texas and Oklahoma," Travis added. "It's a real blessing, and we're mindful of that." Bank7's strong NIM has been a key driver of its success, allowing the company to navigate market challenges with ease.

In addition to its impressive loan growth, Bank7 also reported significant deposit growth during the quarter. This growth is expected to continue with the pending merger with Century Financial in New Mexico. "Century is an outstanding deposit and banking franchise," Travis noted. "It's well entrenched in the communities in New Mexico, especially Santa Fe and its surrounding areas."

The merger with Century Financial is seen as a strategic move by Bank7, enabling the company to expand its presence in the region and tap into a new source of cheap core funding. "We're very excited about this transaction," Travis stated, highlighting the discipline and patience that has driven the deal's success.

Bank7's commitment to prudent capital management has also been praised by analysts. Despite calls from investors to distribute excess capital, the company waited for the right opportunity to strike, ultimately using its funds to secure a transformative merger.

"We look forward to continuing to serve our existing communities and customers," Travis stated, "as well as those in New Mexico through this new partnership." With its strong loan growth, robust deposit growth, and strategic mergers, Bank7 is well-positioned for future success."
