Brady Corporation Sees Bright Future After Pivotal Acquisition
Brady Corporation, a stalwart in the identification solutions industry, has embarked on an exciting new chapter with its recent acquisition of Honeywell's Productivity Solutions business (PSS).
The move marks a significant pivot for Brady, transforming it from a classic industrial company to an industrial technology powerhouse. With the PSS acquisition now complete, Brady is poised to tackle more complex customer challenges through connected devices, software, services, and media.
During its Q4 2026 earnings conference call, Brady Corporation's President and Chief Executive Officer, Vineet Nargolwala, highlighted the company's ambitious plans for growth. "We are entering new markets and immediately garnering the number two market position in the AIDC sector," he announced.
The acquisition has also led to a reorganization of Brady's business units into two separate reportable segments: Identification Solutions (IDS) and Intelligent Productivity Solutions (IPS). Olivier Bojarski, President of Americas and Asia for Brady, will lead the IDS business, while David Barker, former PSS President at Honeywell, takes charge of IPS.
With a rich history spanning over 100 years, Brady has built a reputation for delivering specialty materials, printers, and consumables to small and medium-sized customers across various markets. The addition of PSS's strengths in scanners, mobile computing, software, and services now enables Brady to offer end-to-end solutions across critical workflows.
As Vineet Nargolwala noted, "Brady has a history of strong cash generation and over 40 years of increasing dividends to our shareholders." The acquisition is expected to unlock significant growth opportunities for the company, positioning it as a leading identification, safety, and productivity solutions partner for businesses globally.
With operations in over 40 countries and a workforce of more than 9,000 employees worldwide, Brady is well-equipped to capitalize on its expanded market reach. The acquisition has created a significant opportunity for growth, with the combined company addressing a massive $14 billion market.
