Camtek Soars to New Heights: Record Revenue, Accelerated Order Intake, and Strong Outlook

Camtek, a leading provider of advanced packaging equipment and inspection solutions, has just reported its second quarter 2026 financial results, exceeding expectations and solidifying its position as a leader in the industry. The company's revenue reached a record $133 million, with gross margin at 51.4% and operating income totaling $36 million.

In a conference call with investors on August 10th, Camtek CEO Rafi Amit expressed his delight with the results, stating that the exceptional momentum across the business is "becoming a reality." Amit highlighted the company's expectation of a stronger second half of 2026, which has materialized. With total orders received year-to-date exceeding $600 million, deliveries scheduled through 2026 and into 2027, Camtek's business visibility for the remainder of the year and beyond has significantly improved.

The company's leading position in the advanced packaging market is expected to drive approximately 45% growth in its advanced packaging business in the second half of 2026 compared with the first half. This growth is largely driven by the industry transition to HBM4, together with continued capacity expansion, resulting in significant orders from multiple leading HBM manufacturers.

Camtek's new generation platforms, the Eagle G5 and the Hawk, have been contributing significantly to its systems revenue. With approximately 50% of these orders being advanced packaging applications, the company expects this contribution to continue increasing over the coming quarters as customer adoption accelerates.

The ongoing expansion of 2.5D and 3D IC packaging capacity is creating a substantial growth opportunity for Camtek. Notably, Orders from OSATs (Original Design Manufacturers) accounted for more than 50% of its total order intake. Another emerging market for the company is photonics, including silicon photonics and compound semiconductor.

Camtek's strong performance in the second quarter has further solidified its position as a leader in the advanced packaging equipment and inspection solutions market. With its record revenue, accelerated order intake, and strong outlook, investors are likely to be pleased with the company's progress and prospects for future growth.
