Draganfly Soars to Record Quarter with Pragmatic Approach

Dragnfly, a leading provider of drone solutions and counter-UAS technology, has announced a record-breaking second quarter in 2026. The company's pragmatic approach to growth and development has yielded impressive results, with revenue increasing by 26% year-over-year to CAD 2.664 million.

The quarter was marked by several significant milestones for the company. One of the most notable was the signing of an exclusive deal with IACLEA (International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators or officials professionals), a 3,000-strong campus association. This partnership provides training for drones and counter-UAS on campuses across North America, marking a major market win for Draganfly.

"This was 50% based on product and 50% based on subject matter expertise and the quality of the training program that was being put forward," said Cameron Chell, CEO and President of Dragnfly. "It's a tremendous market win for us."

The deal with IACLEA represents a significant opportunity for growth, with an immediate pipeline of over 50 campuses signed up. The company is taking a measured approach to rolling out the program, starting with three pilot campuses in the next quarter. This will allow them to assess and refine their training protocol and operational expertise before expanding further.

"We want to make sure that we have got a great reference base in this regard," said Chell. "Really a hats off to our public safety organization and how they organized this."

Dragnfly's pragmatic approach has served them well, allowing them to focus on developing strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders. This was evident in their signing of the Small and Rural Association, another important partnership for the company.

"Part of our whole strategy here is not necessarily to go after the urban centers," said Chell. "We're looking at the rural areas and small communities where we can really make a difference."

The company's financial performance also reflects their successful approach. Gross profit was CAD 533,000 plus, and they have a current cash balance of CAD 131 million.

"Our revenue is at CAD 2.664 million," said Chell. "That's a year-over-year increase of 26%. We had product sales of just over CAD 2.5 million."

Overall, Dragnfly's record quarter and pragmatic approach to growth have set the company up for continued success in the coming months and years.
