Edwards Lifesciences Exceeds Expectations with Strong Q3 2026 Results

Edwards Lifesciences, a global leader in patient-focused medical technologies, has announced its third quarter (Q3) financial results for 2026. The company exceeded expectations with strong performance across both its businesses and regions, driven by its structural heart portfolio.

The Q3 sales of $1.72 billion grew 11.2%, a testament to the company's focused strategy, commitment to innovation, speed and agility, and the strength of execution by its 17,000 dedicated employees worldwide. The structural heart business continued to drive growth, with continuous strength in TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) and growing contributions from its portfolio of TMTT (Therapeutics, Mitral, Tricuspid, Transseptal) therapies.

The company is raising its full-year sales growth guidance to approximately 11.5% and adjusted EPS (Earnings Per Share) guidance to $2.97-$3.05, growing 18% at the midpoint versus prior year. This significant increase reflects the company's confidence in its long-term success.

"We are proud of what our teams have accomplished and how we are positioning Edwards for the future," said Bernard Zovighian, CEO of Edwards Lifesciences. "Our focus on structural heart has delivered meaningful progress across the company, underpinned by our foundational patient-focused culture."

Edwards Lifesciences has made significant strides in advancing the understanding and management of aortic stenosis (AS) through various clinical trials and studies. The PROGRESS trial marked a turning point in managing moderate AS, while the PARTNER 3 seven-year durability data reinforced the differentiation of TAVR with the SAPIEN platform as a compelling treatment strategy for CVAS.

The modernization of the NCD (National Coverage Determination) represents an important step toward expanding access to TAVR for timely, high-quality care for all AS patients. Edwards Lifesciences continues to invest in innovation and execution, positioning itself for long-term success in the structural heart space.
