Enova International Surpasses $1 Billion in Quarterly Revenue for First Time in History
Enova International, a leading online lender, has reported a remarkable third quarter in 2026, with significant growth in originations, revenue, and adjusted earnings per share (EPS).
In the quarterly conference call held on October 22, 2026, Enova's leadership highlighted the company's robust performance, driven by a combination of its talented team, diversified product offerings, scalable online-only operating model, and world-class risk management capabilities. The results reflect a resilient macroeconomic environment, despite ongoing concerns about inflation and potential impacts on future interest rates and economic growth.
Notably, originations reached $2.6 billion in the third quarter, representing a 31% year-over-year increase and the company's 12th consecutive quarter of consolidated year-over-year originations growth of 20% or more. This growth led to an expansion of Enova's consolidated portfolio to $5.9 billion, with small business products accounting for 68% and consumer products making up 32%. The strong portfolio growth enabled revenue to surpass the $1 billion mark, exceeding it for the first time in Enova's history.
Enova's credit performance also demonstrated stability or improvement across its portfolio, with the consolidated net charge-off ratio declining to 8.1% from 8.5% in the year-ago quarter. This solid credit performance, combined with the operating leverage inherent in Enova's online-only business model, resulted in a 33% increase in adjusted EPS from a year ago.
In addition, the company reported a record $807 million in consumer originations for the quarter, representing a 37% year-over-year growth. Consumer revenue grew 21% over the same period, while the consumer net charge-off rate declined to 100 basis points from the third quarter of 2025.
Enova's leadership emphasized that these results reflect the company's continued ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing economic environment. The company's performance highlights its position as a leader in the online lending space, with its diversified product offerings and scalable business model contributing to its success.
As Enova continues to push boundaries and set records, investors are likely eager to see what the future holds for this innovative lender. With a track record of resilience and growth, Enova is well-positioned to capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities in the financial services industry.
