Fabrinet's Record-Breaking Q4: A Testament to the Company's Resilience and Vision

Fabrinet, a leading provider of advanced optical technologies, has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026. The company's remarkable performance has been driven by accelerating year-over-year revenue growth, with Q4 revenue increasing by an impressive 45% year-over-year to $1.316 billion.

This significant uptick in revenue was accompanied by a corresponding increase in non-GAAP EPS, which came in at $4.10 for the quarter, also above guidance range. The company's strong execution and momentum have resulted in a remarkable fiscal year 2026 performance, with revenue reaching an impressive $4.6 billion, up 36% from the previous fiscal year.

"We are delighted to report an outstanding fourth quarter that ended a remarkable year of accelerating year-over-year revenue growth," said Seamus Grady, Chairman and CEO of Fabrinet. "Our momentum will extend in the first quarter and through fiscal year 2027, driven by increasing demand trends across numerous customers in multiple markets."

Fabrinet's performance has been bolstered by strong demand from customers addressing the data center market and those serving the communications infrastructure market. The company's optimism about the long-term durability of these trends is well-founded, given the increasing importance of hyperscalers and other data center service providers.

In order to better reflect the end markets it ultimately serves, Fabrinet has announced a change in its revenue breakdown reporting methodology. From now on, the company will categorize its revenue into three distinct categories: data centers, communications infrastructure, and automotive, industrial, and other revenue. This simplification aims to provide investors with a clearer understanding of the underlying drivers of Fabrinet's business.

"We have been rapidly increasing our manufacturing footprint in order to stay ahead of rising demand," said Seamus Grady. "At Building 10 in our Chonburi campus, we remain on track to complete by early 2027, which will add a total of 2 million square feet to our footprint."

The company's capacity expansion is a testament to its commitment to meeting the growing demand for advanced optical technologies. Fabrinet's ability to adapt and evolve has been a key factor in its success, enabling it to capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities.
