Grifols Delivers Strong Q3 Results, Advances Strategic Initiatives

The Grifols company has announced strong financial results for the third quarter of 2026, with key highlights that demonstrate the company's ability to deliver sustainable growth and strengthen its financial position. According to a recent conference call transcript, Nacho Abia, Chief Executive Officer, stated that Q3 was led by Biopharma, which grew 10.3%, supporting group revenue growth of 8.4% at constant currency.

This commercial performance, combined with continued operating discipline, resulted in adjusted EBITDA of EUR 538 million and a margin expansion to 26.4% in the quarter. The contribution from the quarter brings nine-month revenues to EUR 5.6 billion, up 4.6% at constant currency, and adjusted EBITDA to nearly EUR 1.4 billion, with nine-month adjusted EBITDA margin at 24.8%. As a result, Grifols remains on track to deliver its full-year adjusted EBITDA margin guidance of 25%.

The company's ability to translate earnings into cash and reduce leverage is also noteworthy. Free cash flow before M&A reached nearly EUR 300 million for the first nine months, while total net leverage declined to just below 4x. This demonstrates a clear commitment to improving financial health and positioning Grifols for long-term success.

Beyond the financial results, Grifols has continued to make progress on several strategic initiatives that will drive sustainable value creation in the future. One notable example is the advancement of its partnership with Egypt, supporting the country's goal of plasma self-sufficiency and improving access to plasma-derived medicines across Egypt and the broader region. The company has also made significant strides in diagnostics, particularly through the successful launch of Evanzys IH in Q2.

Overall, Grifols' third quarter results demonstrate a clear focus on delivering sustainable growth, strengthening financial position, and advancing strategic initiatives that will drive long-term value creation."
