GrowGeneration Continues Sales Momentum into Second Quarter 2026
In its latest earnings report for Q2 2026, GrowGeneration has demonstrated continued sales momentum, marking the company's third consecutive quarter of year-over-year revenue growth. This achievement is a testament to the success of the company's larger strategy to transform itself into a commercial proprietary brand-driven business.
At the heart of this strategy are three key priorities: expanding the company's commercial platform, growing its proprietary brands, and maintaining a disciplined cost structure. The expansion of GrowGeneration's commercial B2B business has been a core growth driver, with the digital B2B platform, GrowGen Pro, strengthening relationships with single and multi-state operators, greenhouse growers, and other commercial cultivation customers across North America.
The success of this strategy is evident in the company's second quarter results. Total revenue reached $43.2 million, aligning with expectations and demonstrating both sequential and year-over-year growth despite operating with a smaller retail store footprint. A notable achievement was proprietary brand sales representing approximately 40% of cultivation and gardening revenue, compared to 32% during the same period last year.
Notably, GrowGeneration has already met its target for proprietary brand penetration just halfway through the year, reaching 40% of cultivation and gardening revenue by the end of Q2. This demonstrates significant progress in building a more focused, commercially driven, and profitable business model.
"Our sales momentum in early 2026 continued into the second quarter," said Darren Lampert, co-founder and CEO of GrowGeneration. "This marks our third consecutive quarter of year-over-year revenue growth following the actions we have taken over the past few years as part of our larger strategy to transform GrowGeneration into a commercial proprietary brand-driven business."
With its adjusted EBITDA goal updated for the full year 2026, GrowGeneration now expects to generate adjusted EBITDA in the range of $2 million-$3 million. This represents significant progress and sets a higher bar for revenue growth, cost reduction, and margin improvement.
