Harmonic Delivers Record-Breaking Q2 Results, Accelerating Momentum in Broadband Market

Harmonic, a leading provider of broadband and streaming media solutions, has reported record-breaking financial results for its second quarter 2026. The company's momentum in the market continues to accelerate, driven by its flexible cOS Platform that supports all access architectures.

During the earnings call, Nimrod Ben-Natan, President and CEO, highlighted the strength of Q2, citing continued demand from rest of market customers, accelerating fiber deployments, and encouraging results from the company's new intelligence layer. The sale of Harmonic's video business in June marked the completion of its transformation to a pure-play broadband company.

Ben-Natan emphasized that operators no longer have to choose between different network architectures before deploying Harmonic's cOS Platform. With the platform supporting all access architectures, DOCSIS 3.1+, DOCSIS 4.0, distributed, centralized, and fiber, operators can deploy it knowing it will evolve as their priorities do.

The company's CEO also noted that network traffic is changing shape, with upstream traffic growing more than three times faster than downstream over the past year. This trend is expected to continue, driven by AI and connected devices that run around the clock, not just at peak hours. As a result, operators are looking for ways to relieve upstream capacity constraints.

Harmonic's cOS Platform offers a unique strength in enabling all options – DOCSIS 4.0, high split upgrades, or fiber – with the same software and at the same time. This flexibility is critical as legacy platforms approach the end of their useful life and become increasingly expensive to maintain and secure.

The financial results for Q2 were impressive, with revenue growing 54% year-over-year to $133.5 million, above the high end of guidance and Harmonic's strongest second quarter ever. Rest of market revenue grew 44% year-over-year to nearly $50 million, while bookings reached $144 million, led by rest of market customers.

As a result of this momentum, Harmonic is raising its full-year 2026 broadband revenue outlook. The company's cOS Platform and its ability to evolve with operators' priorities have created a dynamic that is driving growth worldwide. With the sale of its video business complete, Harmonic is now fully focused on delivering solutions for the broadband market.

The future looks bright for Harmonic as it continues to accelerate its momentum in the market. With a strong track record of innovation and customer satisfaction, the company is well-positioned to capitalize on emerging trends and changing network requirements.
