HeartFlow Accelerates Revenue Growth with Strong Q2 Performance
HeartFlow, a leading healthcare technology company, has reported an outstanding quarter for its second fiscal period of 2026. The company's President and Chief Executive Officer, John Farquhar, announced on the company's earnings conference call that revenue growth accelerated for the second consecutive quarter, finishing ahead of expectations.
"Q2 was an outstanding quarter for HeartFlow, and the momentum that we entered 2026 with is accelerating," said Farquhar. "Our year-over-year revenue growth accelerated for the second consecutive quarter, and we finished ahead of our expectations. A credit to our expanding category leadership and the continued strong growth of the CCTA market."
HeartFlow's Q2 revenue reached $64.1 million, up 48% year-over-year, with U.S. revenue increasing by 51%. This represents the company's fastest revenue growth in eight quarters. Four key factors contributed to this performance: accelerated plaque activations and physician utilization, durable FFR-CT utilization across existing accounts, strong new account additions, and a growing CCTA market.
Farquhar credited the HeartFlow team for their dedication to patients and the company's success. "The strength of our second quarter performance gives us confidence to raise our full-year outlook again," he said.
The company now expects total revenue of $246 million-$250 million, representing 40%-42% year-over-year growth. Additionally, HeartFlow raised its full-year guidance for plaque revenue to a range of $29 million-$31 million and increased the number of activated accounts to approximately 1,250.
HeartFlow's commercial adoption, innovation pipeline, and clinical programs are advancing according to plan. The company reported another strong quarter of new account additions and continues to win at a high rate, strengthening its growing category leadership and ability to drive broader platform utilization. Plaque performance was also ahead of expectations, with accelerating activations and utilizations.
HeartFlow's commitment to innovation is evident in its AI-driven technology platform. The company's Plaque Analysis has demonstrated market-leading accuracy and reproducibility across peer-reviewed prospective studies and independent clinical research. ACC's scientific statement on industry standards for quantitative plaque analysis underscores the importance of independently validated accuracy and reproducibility, aligning directly with HeartFlow's differentiated evidence base and technology platform.
The company is also proud to be selected as the exclusive plaque provider for the PRE-EMPT Study, an NIH-funded 1,500-patient study evaluating whether directly measuring coronary disease can improve prevention in younger asymptomatic patients. This partnership further solidifies HeartFlow's leadership position in the industry and reinforces its commitment to advancing patient care.
