Huron Consulting Group Sprints Ahead in Q2 2026 with Record Revenues and Expanded Addressable Market

Huron Consulting Group today announced its record-breaking performance for the second quarter of 2026, with a significant 16% increase in revenues before reimbursable expenses (RBR) compared to the same period last year. The company's Chief Executive Officer, Mark Hussey, attributed this growth to strong organic expansion across all three operating segments, including consulting, advanced services, and digital capabilities.

According to Hussey, record RBR was achieved in both consulting and advanced services, with digital capabilities also seeing a notable surge. This performance has reinforced the company's confidence in increasing its full-year RBR and earnings guidance, building upon its track record of consistent growth and margin expansion since 2021.

The company's strong first-half performance is coupled with an acceleration in client bookings during the second quarter, with all three segments showing an uptick. This has led to a significant increase in Huron's backlog and pipeline, providing a solid foundation for future growth.

A key driver behind Huron's success is its increasing focus on artificial intelligence (AI). Organizations are increasingly turning to the company to understand how the rapidly evolving AI landscape can drive growth and operational improvement. Huron's teams are working closely with clients to integrate technology, including frontier AI models, and redesign workflows and operating processes.

This increased demand for digital services has seen bookings grow by more than 20% in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period last year. Notably, over 60% of these bookings have either direct AI scope or will have delivery significantly enabled by Huron's AI tools, representing a significant increase from 35% in the first half of 2025.

The company is confident that AI represents a substantial revenue growth opportunity for its digital capability. Huron continues to embed its deep industry expertise and proprietary data and insights into its AI-enabled solutions, enhancing tangible outcomes delivered to clients.

A notable example of how AI is driving value in Huron's healthcare business is the company's clinical intelligent automation solution. This tool captures proprietary data and insights from trusted sources to drive clearer decisions and stronger financial performance for healthcare organizations.

The solution compresses time-to-deliver insightful recommendations to just hours, enabling Huron to identify greater financial benefits even faster for its clients. This has created new opportunities for implementation services and increased revenue and margin opportunities.

As AI continues to expand Huron's addressable market, the company is offering innovative AI services and solutions to its clients through partnerships with technology leaders like Anthropic, Microsoft, and AWS. These engagements range from AI strategy, governance, and data monetization to scaling implementation and managed services via point solutions and end-to-end transformation.
