Inseego Corp. Surpasses Revenue Expectations in Q2 2026, Sets Sights on Long-Term Growth Amid Product Delivery Challenges

In a quarterly conference call that highlighted both impressive revenue growth and operational challenges, Inseego Corp. announced financial results for the second quarter of 2026 that exceeded expectations.

With revenue reaching $44 million, a figure at the high end of the company's guidance range, Juho Sarvikas, Chief Executive Officer, attributed this success to strong product revenue and late-quarter orders from select carrier customers. These orders were tied to expected memory cost increases going into the second half of the year.

The top-line results indicated a 28% sequential growth and 9% year-over-year growth, making it a period of significant expansion for Inseego Corp. However, this success came with the caveat that the late-quarter orders from select carrier customers impacted gross margin and are expected to result in lower ordering levels from those customers in Q3.

Sarvikas emphasized that over the last 18 months, the company has accelerated its product introduction pace significantly, moving beyond its traditional rate of roughly one new product annually. This strategic shift led to launching multiple new products and variants across mobile and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), as well as broadening the customer base.

Notably, Inseego Corp. now boasts six products across three tier 1 carriers for the first time in its history, a milestone that helped win important new customer opportunities, including a newest tier 1 carrier relationship performing well across both mobile and FWA segments.

However, the company faces challenges related to product delivery. Sarvikas acknowledged experiencing product delays due to engineering processes not supporting the rate of new product introduction. This has created a revenue gap that will not fully recover in 2026, a disappointment particularly given customer wins achieved during this period.

In response, Inseego Corp. has taken immediate actions, including searching for a new engineering leader, which is progressing well with several candidates deeply engaged. Despite the product delays and weakness with its largest FWA customer, Sarvikas expressed optimism about the next generation of products to get the business back on track.

The company updated its full-year 2026 outlook to reflect a lower second-half revenue expectation due to factoring in a slower recovery with its largest FWA customer. Despite this adjustment, Inseego Corp.'s focus remains on achieving more consistent revenue and delivering profitability by getting the business to a more appropriate product delivery cadence and quality.

The successful launch of their refreshed mobile product family across all three North America tier 1 carrier customers, including the delayed but on-target late-quarter launch with its largest MiFi customer, was highlighted as a key operational milestone. This achievement positions Inseego Corp. with a stronger mobile portfolio than ever before and places it strategically across three largest carrier customers and the reseller channel.

With an eye towards long-term growth, Inseego Corp. is preparing for the integration of Nokia FWA. As the company continues to navigate its operational challenges, its focus remains on delivering consistent revenue streams and profitability through a more efficient product delivery model.
