Lindblad Expeditions Soars to New Heights: Record-Breaking Q3 Results and Unbridled Growth Potential

Lindblad Expeditions has emerged as a shining star in the experiential travel industry, delivering an exceptional third quarter 2026 performance that eclipses previous records. The company's robust growth momentum was further amplified by strategic acquisitions, innovative marketing strategies, and an unwavering commitment to providing unparalleled guest experiences.

According to Natalya Leahy, Chief Executive Officer, this has been a "fun and exciting quarter" for the company. Two esteemed brands, White Desert and Echo Charlie, have joined Lindblad's global experiential travel platform, expanding its offerings and capabilities. These additions have not only strengthened the company's position in the market but also instilled confidence in raising guidance mid-quarter and again today.

The results are nothing short of remarkable. Total company revenue reached a staggering $269 million, representing a 12% increase from the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA surged by 12% to $64 million, despite the challenging backdrop of rising fuel prices (up approximately 50% year over year). The company also generated approximately $27 million in net income available to stockholders.

Occupancy rates soared, increasing 310 basis points to 91%, marking the third consecutive quarter above the 90% mark. Net Yields reached a record-high $1,398 per guest night, while Lindblad segment revenue and Land Experiences segment revenue grew by 12% and 13%, respectively.

Notably, the company's disciplined commercial execution, revenue management, and improved marketing strategies continue to drive strong bookings momentum. 2027 bookings are outpacing the prior year for both expedition and land segments, with a record-high booked position. Even more impressively, 2028 bookings are pacing ahead of 2027.

In light of this continued success, Lindblad Expeditions has raised its full-year guidance again. Specifically, revenue expectations have been increased to a range of $870 million to $885 million from the previous guidance of $850 million to $880 million. Net yields for the full year are now expected to increase in the range of 6% to 7%, while Adjusted EBITDA guidance has been updated to a range of $142 million to $148 million.

The company's strategic pillars, as outlined by Natalya Leahy, include expanding its experiential travel platform, enhancing commercial execution and revenue management, and accelerating growth in key segments. The growth opportunity ahead is substantial, with affluent travelers increasingly seeking authentic, immersive experiences in extraordinary places. Expedition cruising, one of the fastest-growing and most under-penetrated segments of leisure travel, presents a compelling future for Lindblad Expeditions.
