Malibu Boats Closes Out Fiscal 2026 with Record-Breaking Quarter, Sets Stage for Bright Future

Malibu Boats capped off a remarkable fiscal year 2026 with an outstanding fourth quarter performance, solidifying its position as a leading player in the marine industry. The company's Q4 results were marked by significant revenue growth and expanded profitability, with net sales soaring 42.7% to $295.5 million and adjusted EBITDA jumping 72.7% to $33.9 million.

Chief Financial Officer David Black highlighted the importance of the MBI Advantage operating framework, which has driven operational excellence, central sourcing, and channel discipline across the company. "This is a direct result of the MBI Advantage operating framework," he noted during the conference call. "We've been building into this company over the past year."

The strong finish to fiscal 2026 was driven by better-than-expected performance across the portfolio and the addition of Saxdor, which contributed fully in its first quarter with the company. Net sales for the full fiscal year came in at $914.6 million, roughly $29 million above the top end of the range raised in May, while adjusted EBITDA reached $73.9 million, situated in the upper half of the guided range.

The milestone-rich year was filled with highlights, including the hosting of Malibu's first Investor Day since 2018, where the Build, Innovate, Grow framework was introduced. The company also announced a six-year global partnership with the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation and recognized customer satisfaction awards across five brands at the Miami International Boat Show.

A particularly notable achievement came on March 2nd, when Malibu closed the acquisition of Saxdor Yachts, significantly expanding its portfolio to the adventure day boat segment. This move not only reinforces the company's premium positioning but also offers international growth opportunities for its legacy brands. The integration of Saxdor is expected to further boost revenue and profitability.

Malibu Boats' President and Chief Executive Officer Steve Menneto expressed his enthusiasm about the company's strategic execution and future prospects, stating that the fourth quarter marked a strong finish to fiscal 2026. He emphasized the operational excellence, central sourcing, and channel discipline built into the company over the past year.

The celebration of Pursuit Boats' 50-year anniversary last month serves as a testament to Malibu's commitment to its legacy brands and their customers. The company's journey is marked by its relentless pursuit of innovation and growth, positioning it for continued success in the marine industry.
